Tannoy (185 products)

Tannoy VX Series Powered Loudspeakers

Tannoy is a heritage British manufacturer known for Dual Concentric driver technology, delivering precise imaging and consistent coverage for sound reinforcement. Creation Networks stocks the current VX Series line, including the VXP 8 powered loudspeaker. For SKU selection and pricing, contact us through creationnetworks.net.

VXP Series โ€” Powered Dual Concentric Loudspeakers

VXP speakers integrate a Lab Gruppen IDEEA Class D amplifier directly into the cabinet alongside Tannoy's Dual Concentric driver, so the high and low frequency drivers share a single acoustic source point for more consistent coverage off-axis. In stock: the VXP 6 (6", available in black or white), the VXP 8 (8", also in black), and the larger VXP 15HP PowerDual (15", in black or white) for larger coverage requirements.

How to Choose a Tannoy VXP Speaker

  • Room size โ€” VXP 6 suits smaller rooms and monitor applications; VXP 8 covers standard-size rooms; VXP 15HP handles larger venues needing more output and low-frequency extension.
  • Finish โ€” black or white cabinet finish, selected to match the room's aesthetic.
  • Self-powered advantage โ€” the integrated Class D amplifier removes the need for a separate power amp rack, simplifying installation.

Why Creation Networks for Tannoy

We size and place VXP speakers against your room's actual coverage requirements. We handle system design, installation, and ongoing support for Tannoy deployments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Dual Concentric technology?

Dual Concentric mounts the high-frequency driver at the acoustic center of the low-frequency driver, so both share a single point source โ€” improving coverage consistency and reducing the comb-filtering effects that occur when separate drivers are spaced apart on a standard cabinet.

Do VXP speakers need a separate amplifier?

No. VXP speakers integrate a Lab Gruppen IDEEA Class D amplifier directly into the cabinet.

What size VXP speaker do I need?

VXP 6 suits smaller rooms, VXP 8 covers standard-size spaces, and VXP 15HP PowerDual is built for larger venues needing more output and extended low-frequency response.

Are Tannoy VXP speakers available in different finishes?

Yes, each model is available in black or white to match the room's design.

Do you provide Tannoy system design and installation?

Yes. Speaker sizing, placement, installation, and ongoing support are provided.
