Audiovisual Account Manager

Location: Concord, California

Our Visual Audio Sales Account Manager's primary role is to generate sales for Audio Visual systems by developing and maintaining client relationships and expanding the company’s current client base. Client targets include Commercial Enterprise, Education, and Government market. The AV account manager is responsible for building and providing proposals for design-build audiovisual systems, including design, equipment selection, material, and labor costs for design/build projects. This role is a salary-plus sales incentive structure. The minimum sales expectation is $2.5 million annually for AV products and services. 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales prospects and provide accurate forecasts and activity reporting.
  • Support clients from presales through post-sales including change orders.
  • Respond to RFP /RFQ, bid opportunities, and proposal client inquiries. Attend client site walks as needed.
  • Use cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all AV / VTC technology products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed.
  • Follow up on leads within 24 hours of client inquiry.
  • Meet or exceed monthly GP quota.
  • Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s collaboration needs and timeline.
  • Develop complete, accurate, and profitable price quotations and bid responses.
  • Actively track proposals and awarded projects in the CRM database.
  • Actively use internal CRM databases to complete client contact information, provide detailed notes, and track pending activities.
  • Prepare contracts and project packages for accounts and submit all required documentation. This includes the BOM, writing the SOW, narrative template, and other documentation for each project.
  • Develop and execute a strategic, comprehensive business plan to expand the existing client base and generate new business.
  • Attend and participate in weekly office sales and vendor meetings.
  • Participate in designing and implementing focused prospecting tools with blogs and social media/email campaigns to increase sales and expand our customer base.
  • Work with Operations & Installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Represent the company at technical briefings and vendor Lunch & Learns as needed.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities as prescribed by management.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Must-Haves:

  • Ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end-user customers
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Ability to work and think independently and ensure to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have transparent and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Preferred, but not required:

  • Professional certifications, such as CTS and CTS-D, Crestron. Cisco, Poly, Extron
  • 3-5 years’ experience of direct selling in the AV/VTC/Telecommunications/Construction/Technology industries
  • An Associate of Arts degree or certification in electronics, engineering, or a similar field

Audiovisual Project Coordinator

Location: Northern California

Creation Networks is a Commercial Audiovisual integrator. We have been providing AV-IT solutions and professional service for 17 years in San Francisco Bay Area. Creation Networks is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator for its Audiovisual team. Candidate will be working directly with Account Managers, Project Managers, Logistics Coordinator and support staff on new and ongoing projects. AV Project Coordinator will support the Installation team, Project Managers, Acct Managers and Creation Networks clients to coordinate the service, installation, and delivery of AV/IT technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIIES:

  • Support Account Manager /Project manager/Engineering team with cut sheets for products, vendor contacts and clerical support as needed.
  • Review and acquire a thorough knowledge of project requests or contract documents for each assigned project, including, but not limited to; project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, contracts, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
  • Manage appropriate resource scheduling for all required project tasks.
  • Participate in external project kick-off meetings with all necessary external stakeholders as well as applicable internal resources as required.
  • Manage internal and external project communication and documentation by keeping accurate files and records of project status and activities.
  • Respond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner as directed.
  • Communicate with clients to define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Compile job progress reports. Raise any issues to Project / Office Management for proper escalation.
  • Review daily site progress reports from lead technicians and respond to needs identified.
  • Assist in the management of equipment staging and distribution and sign off process requirements.
  • Assist with Staging & logistics for shipping locations for various projects.
  • Assist Management through the change order process; assurance that scope, schedule, cost or change of terms is handled in accordance with guidelines.
  • Deliver quality analysis reports for cost of resources and subcontractors for each project.
  • Ensure all closeout / as-built documentation is created and the stored in proper folder location for service and/or future office reference.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers with direct interaction with a focus on improving customers’ perception of on time delivery, quality, responsiveness, problem-solving, and service.
  • Process (COI) Insurance requests, receive and track insurance certificates confirming they meet the project building requirements and building access forms and electronically file them within the appropriate project folder.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years coordination experience in Construction or AV
• Experience with project management process
• Ability to manage schedules, fast-paced environment and provide problem solving skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and a passion to succeed
• Excellent Customer service skills and verbal/ written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent organizational, time management, collaboration, multitask and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to and adjust response plans based on project timeline and staff availability

School & Training:

High School Graduate or higher. Clean criminal and driving record required.
• Minimum 2-3 years as Project Coordinator supporting Executive or Sales team.

Audio Visual Engineer

Location: Northern California- East Bay

Creation Networks is a Commercial Audiovisual integrator. We have been providing AV collaboration solutions and professional AV service for 17 years. Creation Networks is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer for its Audiovisual team. The candidate will be working directly with Account Managers, Project Managers, Logistics Coordinator, and support staff on new and ongoing AV projects. The sales engineer will support the sales team and Creation Networks clients by providing the AV design, bill of materials, installation, and delivery of AV/IT technology.

Position Summary

This position works in the Systems Integration Department and provides engineering development, design integration, sales, and technical support for all audio/visual systems.

Responsibilities

Systems Engineering

  • Create detailed system designs to include audio, video, and control systems
  • Interface and update CRM software and cloud-based storage systems
  • Communicate with vendors on product information, pricing, and timelines, as needed
  • Complete bid documentation, including attending bid planning meetings to identify customer needs, budget requirements, design, and bid submittal.
  • Prepare custom proposals, labor estimates, material needs, and Scope of Work
  • Estimate Installation, Programming, and Configuration labor
  • Utilize D-Tools software to create signal flow line drawings, rack layouts, equipment lists, etc., during the design phase of the project
  • Interface with potential subcontractors to acquire pricing
  • Responsible for the overall detailed system design from conception through installation completion

Technical Support

  • Provide technical assistance to the System Integration Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, Installers, Technicians, Programmers, and Sales Representatives as needed on projects
  • Answer questions and educate customers and staff on audio/visual systems
  • Join project kickoff meetings to transition projects after Purchase Orders are received to the Project Management lead
  • Assist in Change Request creation
  • Provide onsite assistance as necessary to ensure successful project completion
  • Update As-built drawings after project completion

Sales Consultations

  • Attend customer meetings with Sales Representatives in-house or onsite as necessary
  • Advise customers & team of design ideas, receive feedback on customer needs, and gather information for the design phase of the process

Required Education & Experience

  • Two-year technical training or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Three to five years of technical experience designing or technically managing audio-visual systems (Commercial or Residential), IT infrastructure, or other low-voltage systems
  • Understanding low voltage signal flow for video/audio/control, D-Tools, and CAD design
  • This position is a hybrid office setting and is required to go to various job sites to consult with customers
