Audiovisual Account Manager

Location: Northern California

AV Account Managers are responsible for driving sales, and business growth by providing solution insights and product recommendations, participate in online product demos, offer technology services, and deliver a positive experience. Ability to respond to customer emails, phone calls, online chat, customer online sales inquiries, and Requests for Proposals. Be agile, Work with customers to provide professional proposals with hardware and services to generate sales for audiovisual systems. Develop and maintain client relationships and expand the company’s current client base.

Participation in weekly team meetings and monthly sales meetings is required. To ensure success, the account manager is required to exercise a regimen of prospecting and relationship management initiatives to generate short and long term opportunities for both new and embedded base clients.

  • Contribute to Creation Networks as a profitable, world-class customer driven provider of audio visual solutions
  • Achieve/exceed assigned revenue/gross profit quota
  • Prospecting new and supporting embedded base clients
  • Execute sales through solution selling
  • Work collaboratively internally and with team members, sub-comtractors, partners, and manufacturers
  • Maintain current industry certifications
  • Use of Creation Networks CRM system & design tools (repository for all client info and activity)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • They will be able to manage multiple customers and opportunities in a fast-paced work environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to impact their sales portfolios.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer & project ownership and the ability to embrace and navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Identify sales opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, activity follow up, close business, and report to management
  • Identify customer cross-selling and up-selling opportunities ensuring that all company products and services have been thoroughly presented and the sales cycle successfully executed
  • Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer’s audiovisual or collaboration needs.
  • Use internal sales tools to develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
  • Complwete Scope of Work / Narative Template for each project submittal.
  • Prepare contracts and pricing summaries for targets accounts and submit all required documentation and contracts
  • Work with the opperations and installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Responsible for developing and executing quarterly sales plans, meeting sales goals, expanding existing client base, and generating new business to meet established sales goals
  • Attend and participate in weekly office sales and team meetings
  • Establish professional relationships with internal project management and sales engineering personnel.
  • Actively track client contact information, provide detailed notes and track pending sales and estimating activities
  • Participate in certifications, training, and professional development activities as per AVIXA standards
  • Monitor project timelines on a weekly basis to ensure timely completion of installed projects, mothly report to Finance
  • Other duties assigned as needed

Preferred, but not required:

  • Professional certifications, such as CTS and CTS-D, Crestron. Cisco
  • Background in networking, control systems, and audio/video conferencing
  • An Associate of Arts degree or certification in electronics, engineering or a similar field

Audiovisual Project Coordinator

Location: Northern California

Creation Networks is a Commercial Audiovisual integrator. We have been providing AV-IT solutions and professional service for 17 years in San Francisco Bay Area. Creation Networks is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator for its Audiovisual team. Candidate will be working directly with Account Managers, Project Managers, Logistics Coordinator and support staff on new and ongoing projects. AV Project Coordinator will support the Installation team, Project Managers, Acct Managers and Creation Networks clients to coordinate the service, installation, and delivery of AV/IT technology.


  • Support Account Manager /Project manager/Engineering team with cut sheets for products, vendor contacts and clerical support as needed.
  • Review and acquire a thorough knowledge of project requests or contract documents for each assigned project, including, but not limited to; project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, contracts, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
  • Manage appropriate resource scheduling for all required project tasks.
  • Participate in external project kick-off meetings with all necessary external stakeholders as well as applicable internal resources as required.
  • Manage internal and external project communication and documentation by keeping accurate files and records of project status and activities.
  • Respond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner as directed.
  • Communicate with clients to define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Compile job progress reports. Raise any issues to Project / Office Management for proper escalation.
  • Review daily site progress reports from lead technicians and respond to needs identified.
  • Assist in the management of equipment staging and distribution and sign off process requirements.
  • Assist with Staging & logistics for shipping locations for various projects.
  • Assist Management through the change order process; assurance that scope, schedule, cost or change of terms is handled in accordance with guidelines.
  • Deliver quality analysis reports for cost of resources and subcontractors for each project.
  • Ensure all closeout / as-built documentation is created and the stored in proper folder location for service and/or future office reference.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers with direct interaction with a focus on improving customers’ perception of on time delivery, quality, responsiveness, problem-solving, and service.
  • Process (COI) Insurance requests, receive and track insurance certificates confirming they meet the project building requirements and building access forms and electronically file them within the appropriate project folder.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years coordination experience in Construction or AV
• Experience with project management process
• Ability to manage schedules, fast-paced environment and provide problem solving skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and a passion to succeed
• Excellent Customer service skills and verbal/ written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent organizational, time management, collaboration, multitask and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to and adjust response plans based on project timeline and staff availability

School & Training:

High School Graduate or higher. Clean criminal and driving record required.
• Minimum 2-3 years as Project Coordinator supporting Executive or Sales team.

Audio Visual Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 a year

Position Summary

This position works in the Systems Integration Department and provides engineering development, design integration, sales and technical support, and quality assurance for all audio/visual systems.


Systems Engineering

  • Create detailed system designs to include audio, video, and control systems
  • Interface and update CRM software and cloud-based storage systems
  • Communicate with vendors on product information, pricing, and timelines, as needed
  • Complete bid documentation including: attending bid planning meetings to identify customer needs, budget requirements, design, and bid submittal.
  • Prepare custom proposals, labor estimates, material needs, and Scope of Work
  • Estimate Installation, Programming, and Configuration labor
  • Utilize D-Tools software to create signal flow line drawings, rack layouts, equipment lists, etc. during the design phase of the project
  • Interface with potential subcontractors to acquire pricing
  • Responsible for the overall detailed system design from conception through installation completion

Technical Support

  • Provide technical assistance to the System Integration Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, Installers, Technicians, Programmers, and Sales Representatives as needed on projects
  • Answer questions and educate customers and staff on audio/visual systems
  • Join project kickoff meetings to transition projects after Purchase Orders are received to Project Management lead
  • Assist in Change Request creation
  • Provide onsite assistance as necessary to ensure successful project completion
  • Update As-built drawings after project completion

Sales Consultations

  • Attend customer consult meetings with Sales Representatives in-house or onsite as necessary
  • Advise customers of design ideas, receive feedback on customer needs, and gather information for design phase of process

Required Education & Experience

  • Two-year technical training or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Three to five years of technical experience designing or technically managing Audio Visual systems (Commercial or Residential), IT infrastructure, or other low-voltage systems
  • Understanding low voltage signal flow for video/audio/control, D-Tools, and CAD design
  • This position is a hybrid office setting and is required to go to various job sites to consult with customers
