It applies to www.creationnetworks.net, our online store, and the other websites, quote and contact forms, and email programs we operate (together, the “Sites”).

Who We Are

Creation Networks, Inc. (“Creation Networks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a specialized Broadcast, Pro-AV, and Pro-Audio systems integration firm serving the technical side of the commercial and media industries. We are headquartered at 770 Mays Boulevard, Suite 5962, Incline Village, NV 89451, with a California office at 1001 Shary Circle, Suite 1, Concord, CA 94518. Our contact details are in the How to Contact Us section below.

Creation Networks is the business responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. For individuals protected by European, United Kingdom, or Swiss data protection law, Creation Networks is the “controller” of that personal information, and the Notice for Individuals in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland applies to you in addition to the rest of this Policy.

This Policy does not cover: personal information we handle as a service provider or processor on behalf of a business customer under a separate contract; information collected by third-party websites or platforms we link to; or the personal information of our employees and job applicants, which is covered by a separate internal notice.

What we collect. Contact and business details you give us, order and payment information, information about how you use our Sites, and information from advertising and analytics cookies.
Why. To sell, quote, ship, and support the products and services you ask for; to run and secure our Sites; to market to businesses and prospects; and to meet legal obligations.
Advertising. We use cookies and similar technologies for interest-based advertising. This may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state laws, and you can opt out — see Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not exchange personal information for monetary payment, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out. See Your U.S. State Privacy Rights and How to Submit a Privacy Request.

Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

Identifiers and contact details — name, company name, job title, billing and shipping address, email address, and telephone or mobile number.
Account information — the username and password you set, and the date, time, and IP address of registration.
Order and transaction information — products quoted or purchased, order history, purchase amounts, shipping details, tax exemption or reseller documentation, and correspondence about your order.
Payment information — payment card or bank details, processed by our payment providers. We receive only a truncated card number, card type, expiration date, and authorization result. We do not store full payment card numbers or security codes on our systems.
Communications — the contents of quote requests, contact and web forms, support tickets, email, and chat, including any files you attach.
Marketing preferences — the subscriptions you opt into and your consent and unsubscribe history.
Reviews and survey responses — ratings, review text, and any information you choose to include, which may be published.

Information about other people that you give us

Some parts of our Sites let you submit another person’s information — for example, when you have an order drop-shipped to a jobsite contact, an installer, or a colleague, or when you refer a project contact to us. In that case we collect that person’s name, company, address, email address, and telephone number, and we use it only to complete the request you asked us to complete. Please provide another person’s information only if you are permitted to do so.

Information collected automatically

Each time you access our Sites, we and our providers automatically collect:

Device and connection information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system and version, device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile), language settings, and internet service provider.
Request and server log information — the pages and files requested, the date and time of each request, HTTP status, the volume of data transferred, and the referring website or URL.
Usage information — pages viewed and view frequency, searches run on the Sites, features and links used, items added to a cart, and session duration.
Approximate location — a general region such as city, state, or country, inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS geolocation from our Sites.

Information from other sources

We may receive personal information from our payment and fraud-prevention providers, shipping carriers, advertising and analytics platforms, review platforms, our CRM and email platforms, publicly available business sources and trade directories, and business partners and manufacturers who refer projects to us.

We do not knowingly collect biometric information, precise geolocation, government identification numbers, health information, genetic data, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, or the contents of your mail, email, or messages other than communications you send to us.

Sensitive Personal Information

The only sensitive personal information we collect is your account log-in credentials. We use them solely to authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent fraud — that is, only for the purposes permitted under CCPA § 1798.121 and its regulations. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share it. Because of this, we are not required to offer, and do not offer, a separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” right.

How We Use Personal Information

Providing products and services — preparing quotes, processing and fulfilling orders, arranging shipping and installation, handling returns, warranty claims, and technical support.
Accounts — creating and administering your account, authenticating you, and providing order history and saved details.
Payments and credit — processing payments, verifying reseller and tax-exempt status, and managing invoicing and collections.
Customer communications — responding to your inquiries and sending transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notices, and service notices. These are not marketing messages and you cannot opt out of them while you have an active order or account.
Marketing — sending newsletters, catalogs, promotions, and product information you have asked for or that relate to your business relationship with us, and measuring how those campaigns perform.
Advertising — showing you and audiences like you relevant advertising on other websites and platforms, and measuring conversions. See Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising.
Operating and improving the Sites — rendering pages on your device, diagnosing and fixing errors, measuring utilization, testing changes, and improving usability, search, and product content.
Reviews and feedback — inviting you to rate a purchase and publishing reviews you submit.
Security, fraud, and abuse prevention — detecting and preventing fraudulent orders, account takeover, and misuse of the Sites.
Legal and compliance — maintaining accounting and tax records, complying with export control, sanctions, and other applicable laws, responding to lawful requests, enforcing our terms, and establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Corporate transactions — evaluating or completing a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We will not use your personal information for a materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purpose without first providing notice and, where required, obtaining your consent. We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We disclose personal information in the following circumstances. We do not disclose it in any other way except as described in this Policy.

Service providers and processors acting on our instructions under contract, including e-commerce and website hosting (Shopify), payment processing, fraud prevention, shipping and logistics, warehousing, CRM and email marketing (HubSpot and Klaviyo), customer support tooling, analytics, IT and security, accounting, and professional advisors.
Payment and shipping — when you pay by card, the information necessary to authorize and settle the payment (including name, billing address, and order amount) is transmitted to the card networks and our payment processor. Shipping name, address, and telephone number are provided to the carrier delivering your order.
Manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractors — where necessary to fulfill a drop-shipped order, honor a warranty, obtain technical support, or perform installation or commissioning work.
Advertising, analytics, and reviews partners — as described in Analytics, Advertising, and Reviews Partners. Some of these disclosures constitute “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under U.S. state privacy laws.
Affiliates — our corporate affiliates and divisions, for the purposes described in this Policy.
Legal and safety — to comply with applicable law or a subpoena, search warrant, court order, or other lawful request; to cooperate with law enforcement or regulators; to enforce our agreements; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Creation Networks, our customers, or others.
Corporate transactions — to a counterparty, acquirer, or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business. We will require that your information remain subject to protections consistent with this Policy.
With your direction or consent — where you ask us to share information or otherwise agree to it.

We require service providers to use personal information only to perform services for us, to protect it appropriately, and not to sell it or use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, we use cookies and similar technologies to deliver interest-based advertising and to measure its performance, and in doing so we make personal information — primarily online identifiers, device information, and information about your activity on our Sites — available to advertising platforms. Under the CCPA and several other U.S. state privacy laws, this activity may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising.” You have the right to opt out.

The categories of personal information involved are: identifiers (including cookie and device identifiers), internet and network activity, commercial information, approximate geolocation, professional or employment information, and inferences. They are made available to the advertising, analytics, and social media platforms listed in Analytics, Advertising, and Reviews Partners.

We do not sell or share sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

You can use any of the following methods. Because opt-outs set through cookies are specific to the browser and device you use, you will need to repeat browser-based steps on each browser and device, and after clearing your cookies.

Use our “Your Privacy Choices” control. Select the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of any page on our Sites and turn off advertising and analytics cookies.
Send a Global Privacy Control signal. If you visit our Sites with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal enabled in your browser or extension, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser and device, in the jurisdictions where such signals must be honored.
Contact us directly. Submit a request through the methods in How to Submit a Privacy Request. This lets us apply the opt-out to your account and email address, not just to one browser.
Opt out at the platform level. Use the controls offered by the individual advertising platforms and the industry tools listed in Analytics, Advertising, and Reviews Partners and Industry opt-out tools.

Opting out of interest-based advertising does not stop advertising altogether; you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device that store settings and identifiers. A cookie typically contains the name of the domain that set it, information about its lifespan, and an alphanumeric identifier. We also use related technologies with similar functions, including pixels and clear GIFs, local storage, software development kits, and server-side logging. In this Policy we refer to all of them as “cookies.”

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them, and allow us to recognize a returning visitor. First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by our providers and partners.

We tell you about our use of cookies through a banner when you first visit, and you can manage non-essential cookies at any time through the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can restrict, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent. The Help menu in most browsers explains how to prevent new cookies, delete existing ones, and disable cookies entirely. aboutcookies.org provides step-by-step guidance across a range of browsers. Please note that if you refuse strictly necessary cookies, parts of our online service — including checkout — will not function.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is no common industry or legal standard for how to interpret DNT, so our Sites do not respond to DNT signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described in How to opt out.

Analytics, Advertising, and Reviews Partners

The partners below process personal information in connection with our Sites. Their privacy policies govern their own practices and do not supersede this Policy; we encourage you to review them. Availability of specific programs may change over time.

E-commerce platform

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Shopify processes order, account, and browsing information in order to operate the store on our behalf. See the Shopify Privacy Policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), for statistical analysis of how our Sites are used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about your use of the Sites, which is transmitted to and stored by Google on our behalf, including on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the Sites, compile reports on site activity, and provide related services to us. We have enabled IP address anonymization where available.

Advertising, retargeting, and remarketing

Retargeting and remarketing are technologies that let us show advertising to people who have previously visited our Sites, after they leave. To do this, our advertising partners use cookies and similar identifiers to recognize a browser or device across websites, and take prior browsing behavior into account. For example, if you view a particular category of equipment on our Sites, you may later see advertising for that or similar equipment elsewhere. The result is advertising tailored to inferred interests. We do not need to know your identity for this to work, and we do not combine the data used for retargeting with the identified customer records we hold.

We work with the following advertising platforms:

Google Ads (including Google remarketing and conversion tracking, and the Google Display Network). Manage your Google ad settings at My Ad Center, or opt out of personalized advertising at the Google advertising opt-out page.
LinkedIn Ads and Marketing Solutions. We may also use the LinkedIn Audience Network for sponsored content campaigns, which delivers our creative on third-party sites beyond the LinkedIn feed. Our marketing emails contain pixels that tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. You can prevent this by disabling images in your email client, or by unsubscribing.

Review invitations are optional, and you may decline them or opt out of them at any time.

Our Sites contain links to our profiles and channels on Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube, indicated by each provider’s logo. These are ordinary links: selecting one opens that provider’s site, where that provider’s privacy policy applies rather than this one. We do not embed social plug-ins that transmit your information to those providers before you select the link.

How Long We Keep Personal Information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. In deciding how long to keep information, we consider how long we need it to provide the service, the length and nature of our relationship with you, our legal and tax recordkeeping obligations, and whether we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.

Marketing subscriptions and consent records	Until you unsubscribe, plus a record of your unsubscribe kept indefinitely so we can honor it.
Support and contact form correspondence	Retained while your matter is open and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up questions, then deleted, unless we must keep it for legal or tax reasons.
Server and security logs, including IP address	Typically 30 to 90 days, longer where needed to investigate a specific security incident.
Cookie and analytics data	For the lifespan of the relevant cookie, and per the retention setting configured in each analytics or advertising platform.

We may also retain personal information where necessary to comply with a mandatory data retention law, a government or court order to preserve data relevant to an investigation, or a litigation hold. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify or aggregate it so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

Data Security

To help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the personal information we hold. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls and authentication, restricting access on a need-to-know basis, use of vetted providers under contract, and monitoring and logging.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect your information by using a strong, unique password, keeping it confidential, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Your Choices

Marketing email. Select the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, adjust your preferences through the preference center linked in our emails, or contact us. We will act on your request promptly. You may continue to receive transactional messages about active orders and your account.
SMS. If you have opted into text messages, reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

Your account. Sign in to review and update your contact details, addresses, and communication preferences.
Review invitations. Decline the invitation, or use the unsubscribe link it contains.

Your U.S. State Privacy Rights

Comprehensive consumer privacy laws are now in effect in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The rights available to you, and whether a given law applies to us, depend on your state of residence. Where a right below is not available to you by law, we may still choose to honor the request, but we are not obliged to.

Right to know or access. Confirm whether we process your personal information and obtain access to it, including the categories collected, the sources, the purposes, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold.
Right to delete. Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction, security and fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.
Right to correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.
Right to portability. Obtain a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, of processing for targeted advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. See How to opt out. We do not engage in such profiling.
Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable. As explained in Sensitive Personal Information, we use sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes, so this right does not apply.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price or rate, provide a different level or quality of service, or suggest that we will, because you exercised a privacy right. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
Right to withdraw consent where we rely on your consent, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it.
Right to appeal. If we decline your request, you may appeal — see Appeals.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, or for a valid power of attorney, and we may ask you to verify your own identity and confirm that you gave the agent permission.

Appeals

If we decline to act on your request, we will tell you why. In states that provide an appeal right, you may appeal that decision within a reasonable period by replying to our response or by writing to info@creationnetworks.net with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.” We will inform you in writing of the outcome of the appeal, and the reasons for it, within the period required by your state’s law — generally 45 or 60 days. If we deny the appeal, we will provide you with a method to contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.

Please tell us which right you wish to exercise, your state of residence, and enough information for us to locate your records.

Verification and timing

To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access, making corrections, or deleting information. We may ask you to confirm information already in our records, such as an order number, the email address on your account, or your billing address, and for a signed declaration under penalty of perjury for certain requests. We will not ask for more information than necessary, and we use information provided for verification only for that purpose.

We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within that period and may extend it by up to an additional 45 days, for a maximum of 90 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request; we may charge a reasonable fee or decline a request that is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, and we will explain why.

You may also correct factual errors in your personal information by sending us a request that credibly identifies the error.

Additional Disclosures for California Residents

The disclosures above — the categories table, purposes, recipients, retention, sale and sharing, and rights sections — constitute our notice at collection and CCPA disclosures for California residents. In addition:

“Shine the Light” (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83). California residents may request once per year a list of the third parties to which we disclosed personal information for those parties’ own direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year, and the categories of information disclosed. Send a written request to info@creationnetworks.net, stating whether you would like our response by email or postal mail. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and to protect our customers against fraudulent requests.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal information; rectification of inaccurate or incomplete information; erasure; restriction of processing; and data portability. You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including to direct marketing at any time, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You are not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise these rights, use any method in How to Submit a Privacy Request. We will respond within one month, which we may extend by two further months for complex or numerous requests, in which case we will tell you within the first month.

If you believe we have not handled your personal information lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns first.

Transfers out of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

We are established in the United States, and personal information you provide is transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our providers operate. These countries may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards, which may include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, an adequacy decision, or another lawful transfer mechanism, along with supplementary technical and organizational measures as appropriate. Provision of personal information

Where personal information is required to enter into or perform a contract with us — for example, the name and address needed to fulfill an order — we will be unable to provide the product or service if you do not provide it. Other information is optional, and you can choose what to give us.

Children’s Privacy
