AV Design & Integration in Concord and the East Bay
Creation Networks designs, installs and supports commercial AV systems across Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez and the wider East Bay from our office at 1001 Shary Circle in Concord. We are an AV integrator, not a rental house: conference rooms, boardrooms, council chambers, training rooms and control rooms, designed and programmed by our own staff and serviced by technicians who work out of this building. If a room stops working on a Tuesday morning, the person who shows up is someone we employ.
What we do in Concord
From the Concord office we handle the whole job. AV system design with CAD drawings, signal-flow diagrams and a line-item bill of materials. Control and DSP programming on Crestron, Q-SYS and Biamp. Installation — cable, rack build, mounting, commissioning and signal testing. Video walls and large-format LED. Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet room builds. Digital signage. And CreationCare, our maintenance and managed support agreement, which is why most of our East Bay customers are on their third or fourth project with us rather than their first.

Our East Bay work splits about evenly between corporate headquarters, city and county government, and colleges and universities. Those three buyers want the same thing in different language: a room that works every time, one standard across the building instead of six, and a service partner who answers the phone. Government adds procurement rules and network security review. Higher ed adds a summer-only install window. We are set up for both.

Do you work on college and university AV projects in the East Bay?
Yes, and it is a large share of the work from this office. Completed campus projects include the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Campus, San Francisco State University, Los Medanos Community College in Pittsburg, Chabot College in Hayward, Touro University in Vallejo and the Lake Tahoe Community College University Center. Higher education AV has one constraint that changes everything: the install window is the summer, or a single week between terms, and it does not move. The design has to be finished and the equipment on site before the students leave. It also means standardising room types pays off faster than on a corporate campus, because a technician covering forty classrooms cannot learn forty different control interfaces. We build one standard per room type, document it, and hand over the programming source files so your AV team can maintain it without calling us for every change.
Do you work on city and county government AV projects in the East Bay?
Yes. Government AV is a large share of our East Bay work. We delivered four projects for the County of San Mateo, covering its Regional Operations Center, Emergency Operations Center, Information Services offices and a WIC facility, and we have done control room and conference room work for Bay Area Rapid Transit. Public sector projects differ from corporate ones in three ways we plan around: hardware often has to be TAA-compliant or a government-specific model variant, control systems and DSPs sit on a secure network and need a configuration your IT security team can review before anything is plugged in, and the work is competitively bid rather than bought on a purchase order. Council chambers and operations centers also cannot go dark, so cutover gets staged around the meeting calendar.
