SFSU Mashouf Wellness Center Video Wall
INTRODUCTION
San Francisco State University’s Mashouf Wellness Center is the campus health and recreation facility serving students, faculty, and staff.
Creation Networks partnered with San Francisco State University to replace the video wall system in the Mashouf Wellness Center, engineering, programming, and installing a new Planar LCD video wall with a protective coating to withstand the high-traffic recreational environment.
This project reflects Creation Networks’ ongoing relationship with SFSU, which has included multiple AV projects on campus over the years.

CHALLENGE
The Mashouf Wellness Center needed a replacement video wall solution that would:
- Withstand the humidity and activity of a high-traffic recreation and wellness facility.
- Deliver bright, seamless imagery across a large viewing area.
- Replace the previous video wall system with minimal disruption to the facility.
- Provide reliable, long-term operation with simple management for university staff.
THE SOLUTION
Creation Networks deinstalled the wellness center’s prior video wall and installed a new 7-wide by 1-high Planar LX55M-L-ERO LCD video wall with a protective coating option, driven by a Planar VC9 video wall processor.
THE TECHNOLOGY
The installation features the following video wall hardware:
Video Wall & Processing
- Planar LX55M-L-ERO LCD video wall panels (Qty 7) in a 7-wide by 1-high configuration, with protective coating
- Planar VC9 video wall processor
- Remote power supply for the video wall system
All components were installed and programmed by Creation Networks.

The replacement video wall provides the Mashouf Wellness Center with:
