AV Design & Integration in Reno and Lake Tahoe

Creation Networks is headquartered at 770 Mays Blvd in Incline Village, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, and has been since we started in 2006. We design, install and support commercial AV systems across Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Truckee and the Tahoe basin — conference rooms, boardrooms, training rooms, video walls and control rooms. Our largest local project is the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino — 50,000 square feet of event space in this same town. This is our home region, and it is the one place where the company that designs your system and the company that services it are unambiguously the same people.

What we do in Reno

Northern Nevada work covers the full range: AV system design with drawings and a bill of materials, Crestron and Q-SYS control and DSP programming, installation and commissioning, large-format LED and video walls, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms builds, digital signage, and CreationCare maintenance agreements. Because our headquarters is here, this is also where we hold spares and where our engineering staff sit. For a Reno or Carson City customer that means design conversations happen in person rather than over a screen share, which is worth more than it sounds when you are agreeing a room standard.

Regional and comparable projects

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino, Incline Village — 50,000 sq ft of event space. The property was running on legacy Symetrix DSPs handling background music, paging, room combining and conferencing, with hardware going end of life and firmware that could no longer be safely upgraded. We migrated it to Symetrix Prism and Radius NX processors on native Dante and AES67 networking, in phases, running old and new in parallel during testing so the resort never lost audio. Coverage runs across the Lake Tahoe Conference Center's seven event spaces, the divisible ballrooms, the spa, the pool and patio, the lobby and guest areas, and the Stillwater Garden outdoor venue.

County of San Mateo — Four county facilities including a Regional Operations Center and an Emergency Operations Center.

Who we work with in Reno

Northern Nevada buyers are corporate offices and distribution operations moving into new space, city and county government, and the colleges and healthcare providers that serve the region. Reno's growth means a lot of the work is new build, which is the best possible time to talk to us — once AV is inside the awarded construction package, the decisions that matter have already been made by someone else.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the AV integrator in Reno and Lake Tahoe?

Creation Networks is headquartered in Incline Village, Nevada, at 770 Mays Blvd, Suite 5962, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, and we have designed and installed commercial AV across Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Truckee and the Tahoe basin since 2006. Our largest local project is the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino: 50,000 sq ft of event space migrated from end-of-life Symetrix DSPs to Symetrix Prism and Radius NX on Dante and AES67, in phases, without the resort losing audio. Our engineering and design staff are based here, our designers hold CTS-D certification, and we work on Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Cisco and Shure rather than pushing one manufacturer. For a Northern Nevada customer the advantage is proximity: design conversations in person, spares held locally, and service calls covered by headquarters staff rather than a subcontractor. Reach us on 888.230.3661. If you are putting AV into new space, talk to us during design development rather than after the construction package is awarded.

Do you cover Carson City, Sparks and Truckee as well as Reno?

Yes. Our published service area from the Incline Village headquarters is Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, Reno, Carson City, Washoe County and the wider Northern Nevada region, on both the Nevada and California sides of the Tahoe basin. Incline Village to Reno is about 35 miles, to Carson City about 30, to Truckee about 25. That is the whole reason the headquarters is where it is. For customers on a CreationCare maintenance agreement we hold spares locally, which is the difference between a display swap happening the same week and happening whenever a part ships. If you are further out — Fallon, Minden, Susanville — tell us the site and we will give you an honest answer about response times rather than a yes that falls apart the first time something breaks. Distance is a fact rather than a negotiation, and pretending otherwise costs you more than it costs us.

What is CreationCare?

CreationCare is our AV maintenance and managed support agreement. It is the thing that determines whether a room that stops working is a phone call or a project. Coverage typically includes scheduled preventative maintenance visits, remote monitoring of control systems and DSPs, a defined on-site response window, firmware and software updates, and help desk access for the people who actually use the rooms. Customers on an agreement get priority over customers who are not, and we hold spares for their equipment. Touro University's LED display in Vallejo runs under a CreationCare agreement, as do most of our multi-site accounts. Because our headquarters is here, Northern Nevada customers get the shortest version of that arrangement: staff in the same town, spares in the same building, and nobody subcontracted in between. Ask us for the current tiers and response windows when we quote, and we will put them in the agreement rather than leave them to a phone call.
