Frame styles

Clarion and Edgeless Clarion are the core fixed frame range, Clarion with a black velour-wrapped frame that absorbs overshoot and Edgeless with a minimal border where the image should appear to float. Cineperm is the permanently mounted option for custom wall openings and behind-the-wall installations. Onyx adds a heavier bordered frame for dedicated screening rooms.

Choosing a surface

Surface matters more than frame style. Matt White XT1000VB is the general-purpose choice with a wide viewing cone. Grey XH600V raises perceived contrast in rooms with some ambient light, at the cost of peak brightness. ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V is acoustically transparent and is what you specify when loudspeakers sit behind the screen — a solid surface in that position kills intelligibility no matter how good the audio system is.

Sizing and aspect ratio

Screen size follows viewing distance and seating geometry, not wall width. Match the aspect ratio to the projector's native ratio: HDTV 16:9 for video-led rooms, NTSC 4:3 for legacy content, and wider formats where the conferencing platform supports them. A mismatched pair wastes both resolution and lumens.
