Product Overview
The Visionary Solutions AVIP-Rackmount-3 is a 1RU rack-mount kit that holds up to three PacketAV encoders and decoders horizontally in a standard 19-inch rack. It is the right-sized mounting solution for conference room credenza racks, huddle room equipment, and small AV over IP installation head ends where only a few endpoints need to be racked. The kit keeps endpoints secured, organized, and serviceable in commercial-grade rack environments.
Product Description
Many AV over IP projects rack only a handful of endpoints per room — an encoder for the room PC, another for a wireless presentation gateway, and a decoder feeding the display. The AVIP-Rackmount-3 mounts up to three of these units side by side in a single rack unit, fitting standard 19-inch racks found in conference room credenzas, lecterns, and equipment closets. Units can be mounted from the front or the back of the kit, giving integrators flexibility for cable dressing and service access, and the design supports high-density stacking when multiple kits are used together. Any combination of compatible PacketAV encoders and decoders can share the kit — for example an E4100 encoder beside a D4100 decoder. Fill unused positions with the AVIP-BLNK-1 blanker plate for a clean rack elevation, or step up to the 4RU AVIP-Rackmount-14 kit for larger head-end builds.
