The Visionary Solutions AVIP-Rackmount-14 is a high-density rack-mount kit that holds up to 14 PacketAV encoders and decoders vertically in 4RU of a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Built for head-end AV over IP installation in equipment rooms and IDF closets, it consolidates large encoder banks into a clean, serviceable rack elevation. It is the standard mounting solution for centralized commercial deployment of Visionary 4 Series and 5 Series endpoints.

Product Description

In AV over IP system design, encoders typically concentrate at the head end near source equipment, while decoders may be racked centrally or distributed at displays. The AVIP-Rackmount-14 addresses the head-end side: fourteen vertical unit positions across 4RU keep endpoints organized, ventilated, and accessible, with units mountable from the front or the back of the kit to suit cable management and airflow plans. Because Visionary endpoints such as the PacketAV E4100 encoder and D4100 decoder are fanless and convection cooled, the vertical orientation supports natural airflow in dense stacks. The kit fits standard 19-inch racks used in conference room credenzas, equipment rooms, and broadcast racks. Unused positions can be closed off with the AVIP-BLNK-1 blanker plate for a finished elevation, and smaller installations can use the 1RU AVIP-Rackmount-3 kit. Specify one kit per group of up to 14 endpoints when building out rack elevations for commercial AV integration projects.
