Product Overview
The Visionary Solutions AVIP-BLNK-1 is a blanker plate for the PacketAV rackmount system, covering unused endpoint positions in the AVIP-Rackmount-3 and AVIP-Rackmount-14 kits. It is the finishing accessory for commercial AV rack builds, giving partially populated rack-mount kits a clean, professional elevation while leaving room for future AV over IP expansion.
Product Description
AV over IP systems are designed to scale in increments of one, so rack-mount kits are frequently installed with open positions reserved for future encoders and decoders. The AVIP-BLNK-1 closes those openings, keeping dust out of the rack bay, tidying the visible elevation in conference room credenzas and equipment rooms, and signaling reserved capacity in the rack plan. When the system grows — adding another E4100 encoder or D4100 decoder — the plate is simply removed and the new endpoint takes its place. Specify one plate per unused position when ordering the AVIP-Rackmount-3 or AVIP-Rackmount-14 kit, so rack elevations arrive on site complete and installation-ready.
