An 88 MHz switching bandwidth and intermodulation-free electronics let the transmitter work on an equidistant frequency grid even with many units in close proximity — the actual condition inside a broadcast truck, a theatre wing or a large house of worship.

The magnesium housing balances low weight, discreet size and moisture shielding, and the BA 61 lithium-ion pack provides up to 6.5 hours of operation, with the B 60 AA battery set supported for rental flexibility. A lockable 3-pin audio input accepts the Sennheiser lavalier and headset range — MKE 1, MKE 2, MKE 40, HSP 2, HSP 4 and SL Headmic — and instrument cable emulation adapts it for guitar and bass.
