What is the Q-SYS Divisible Room Bundle with Shure MXA925 and MXW neXt 2?
The Q-SYS Divisible Room Bundle with Shure MXA925 and MXW neXt 2 is a complete audio, video, and control system for a large room that splits into two. Each side gets its own camera, four ceiling speakers, a touch panel, a Shure MXA925 ceiling mic array for the people at the table, and a Shure wireless handheld for the presenter. Open the wall and the two sides work as one room with shared audio, cameras, and controls. It runs on a Q-SYS Core 8 Flex, which handles the room combining that the RoomSuite bundles can't.

How does the Q-SYS Divisible Room Bundle work?
The Core 8 Flex is the brain of both rooms. An nSYA infrared partition sensor tells the Core when the wall opens or closes, so the rooms combine and split automatically, or with a tap on either touch panel. Combined, mics from both halves feed one mix, all eight speakers play the same program, and both cameras are available to the far end. Close the wall and the system splits back into two independent rooms, each with its own call, volume, and display. Room combining is programmed in Q-SYS Designer by our engineers and tested before handoff.
On each side, a Shure MXA925 ceiling array picks up everyone at the table with Automatic Coverage and AI echo cancellation, noise reduction, and dereverb built in, and a Shure MXWAPXD2 access point receives the wireless handheld and charges it when it's docked. All mics connect to the Core over Dante, so there are no receiver racks or audio cables to run. An NV-32-H on each side handles HDMI in and out and USB bridging, so a room PC or a guest laptop can run Teams, Zoom, or Meet using the room's cameras, mics, and speakers. Everything powers from one Netgear PoE++ AV switch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't this bundle use RoomSuite?
RoomSuite supports up to four ceiling speakers, one Dante ceiling mic, and no room combining. This room needs eight speakers, two ceiling arrays, wireless mics, and combine and divide, so it runs on a Q-SYS Core 8 Flex instead.
Is programming included?
The price covers the equipment. Q-SYS Designer programming for room combining, touch panel layouts, and camera presets is quoted with installation based on your room.
How does the system know the wall is open?
An nSYA infrared partition sensor mounts at the wall track and connects to the Core 8 Flex GPIO. When the wall opens, the rooms combine automatically; when it closes, they split back. QSC documents this sensor for Q-SYS room combining. It's included in the bundle.
Will people at the table be heard?
Yes. A Shure MXA925 ceiling array on each side covers everyone at the table automatically, and the wireless handheld covers the presenter or audience questions.
Can I add more wireless mics?
Yes. Each MXWAPXD2 access point has a second channel open, so you can add another handheld or a bodypack with lavalier to each side without more receivers.
What UC platforms does it work with?
Any platform running on a room PC or laptop, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet, through the NV-32-H USB bridging on each side.
