Poly TC8 – 8-Inch Touch Controller for Room Systems
The HP Poly TC8 is a tabletop touch controller for HP Poly room systems. It is the controller-only component — paired with a Studio X-series video bar or a G7500 codec to provide a tap-to-join meeting interface.
The TC8 is a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen powered by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), with a single RJ-45 connection to the host Poly system. The interface is identical across Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Webex — operators see the same one-touch-join UI regardless of the underlying conferencing platform. The TC8 handles meeting start, mute, volume, content sharing, camera control, and call escalation.
The TC8 attaches to HP Poly Studio X30, X50, X52, X70, G7500, and compatible Studio room kits. PoE simplifies installation to a single cable. Centralized monitoring is handled through Poly Lens cloud management alongside the host video system.
