Absen All-In-One LED Screens (22 products)

Absen all-in-one LED screens are complete fixed-size displays that arrive as one product rather than an array of tiles — screen, mount, processing and control in a single part number. Sizes run from 108 inches to 299 inches across 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios, in the Absenicon C Series, Absenicon X Series, Absenicon Slim and the Micro LED iCon X V2.

Why all-in-one instead of a video wall

A conventional dvLED wall needs array calculation, a separate processor, power distribution, a mounting system and cabinet-by-cabinet commissioning. An all-in-one screen needs a wall and a power outlet.

For a boardroom or conference room where the screen is a known size and nobody needs a custom aspect ratio, that difference is most of the installation cost and most of the project risk. The trade is flexibility — the size is fixed, and if the room needs something other than the sizes offered, a tiled wall is the answer.

The ranges

  • Absenicon C Series — the ultrawide line. C154, C181 and C208 at 21:9; C199, C249 and C299 at 32:9. All 4K.
  • Absenicon X Series — X108 and X136 in 16:9 at 1.2mm and 1.5mm, with interactive touch versions; X151, X178 and X205 in ultrawide. Finer pitch than the C Series, for rooms where people sit closer.
  • Absenicon Slim — C110 and C110S at 110 inches, 1.2mm and 1.27mm, in a reduced-depth chassis for rooms where the screen cannot project far off the wall.
  • iCon X V2 — 136" and 163" Micro LED, the closest-viewing option in the range. See Micro LED & COB for what that construction changes.

Ultrawide is the one worth understanding

A 21:9 screen is roughly a third wider than 16:9 at the same height. A 32:9 screen is twice as wide — effectively two 16:9 screens side by side with no bezel between them.

In a hybrid meeting room that width is genuinely useful: content and participants at full size simultaneously, rather than content shrunk to make room for a filmstrip of faces. In a control room or trading floor, 32:9 replaces a two-screen setup with one continuous surface.

Confirm the video platform supports the aspect ratio before specifying. Microsoft Teams and Zoom both have dual-screen and extended layouts, but the benefit depends on software configuration as much as the hardware. A 32:9 screen running a letterboxed 16:9 image is an expensive way to get a normal screen.

Pitch still follows viewing distance

The usual rule applies — roughly one metre of viewing distance per millimetre of pitch. At 1.2mm a viewer can sit just over a metre away; at 1.5mm it is closer to a metre and a half.

That matters more on smaller screens. Someone sitting a metre from a 108-inch panel will see pixel structure that the same person would not notice on a 205-inch screen at the same pitch, simply because they sit further back from the larger one.

LED instead of LCD in a meeting room

At these sizes LED has no bezel, no backlight uniformity problem and no burn-in risk from a static layout left on screen all day. It also runs brighter, which matters in a glazed room where blinds are rarely closed.

Against a projector, there is no lamp or laser to replace, no throw distance to accommodate and no ambient light limit — the screen works with the lights on.

What still needs planning

Wall structure for the weight, power at the screen position, and the signal path from the room's AV system. Interactive touch versions of the X108 and X136 add a calibration step at commissioning. A mobile cart option exists where the screen needs to move between rooms.

For larger or custom-shaped installations see Absen indoor LED displays. For rooms that also need camera and audio, see video cameras and room control.

Creation Networks specifies all-in-one screens against the room's actual dimensions, seating distances and video platform, handles structural mounting and integration with room control, and trains the people who will use it. All-In-One LED FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions — All-In-One LED Screens

Answers on choosing an all-in-one LED display for a conference room, boardroom or control room — sizing, aspect ratio, pitch and installation.

What is an all-in-one LED display?

An all-in-one LED display is a complete fixed-size screen supplied as a single product, with the LED panel, mounting system, video processing and control built in. Unlike a tiled video wall, it needs no array calculation, no separate processor and no cabinet-by-cabinet commissioning.

Should I choose an all-in-one screen or a tiled video wall?

Choose all-in-one when the screen is a standard size and shape — it is faster to install, cheaper to commission and simpler to support. Choose a tiled wall when the size is custom, the shape is unusual, or the installation needs to extend later.

Is LED better than LCD for a conference room?

At these sizes, yes. LED has no bezel, no backlight uniformity problem and no burn-in risk from a static layout left on screen all day. It also runs brighter, which matters in glazed rooms where blinds are rarely closed.

Is an LED screen better than a projector?

For permanently installed meeting rooms, usually. There is no lamp or laser to replace, no throw distance to accommodate and no ambient light limit — the screen works with the lights on. A projector remains better for very large images or where the screen must disappear when not in use.

What is a 21:9 ultrawide conference display?

A 21:9 screen is roughly a third wider than a 16:9 screen at the same height. In a hybrid meeting it allows content and participants to be shown at full size simultaneously, rather than shrinking content to make room for video.

What is the point of a 32:9 LED display?

A 32:9 screen is twice as wide as 16:9 — effectively two screens side by side with no bezel between them. It replaces a dual-display setup with one continuous surface, which suits control rooms, trading floors and large boardrooms.

Do Microsoft Teams and Zoom support ultrawide screens?

Both have dual-screen and extended layout modes that make use of the extra width, but the benefit depends on software configuration as much as hardware. Confirm the platform and layout before specifying — a 32:9 screen running a letterboxed 16:9 image is an expensive way to get a normal screen.

What size all-in-one LED screen do I need?

Size follows the room depth and the furthest viewer. A common starting point is that the screen height should be roughly one sixth of the distance to the furthest seat for detailed content. Absen all-in-one screens run from 108 inches to 299 inches.

What pixel pitch should an all-in-one conference display have?

Roughly one metre of viewing distance per millimetre of pitch. At 1.2mm a viewer can sit just over a metre from the screen; at 1.5mm it is closer to a metre and a half. Finer pitch matters more on smaller screens, because people sit closer to them.

What is the difference between the Absenicon C Series and X Series?

The C Series is the ultrawide line in 21:9 and 32:9 at 4K. The X Series runs finer pitch at 1.2mm and 1.25mm with 16:9 and ultrawide options, and includes interactive touch versions of the X108 and X136 — better suited to rooms where people sit closer to the screen.

What does an all-in-one LED screen need to be installed?

Wall structure capable of carrying the weight, power at the screen position, and a signal path from the room's AV system. Interactive versions add a touch calibration step at commissioning. A mobile cart option exists where the screen needs to move between rooms.

Can an all-in-one LED screen be moved between rooms?

With a mobile cart, yes. Absen offers carts for several models in the range. For permanent installation a wall mount is standard.

Does Creation Networks install Absen all-in-one displays?

Yes. Creation Networks is CTS-D certified and handles screen selection against room dimensions and video platform, structural mounting, integration with room control, and user training. Nationwide, since 2006.
