The Symetrix 80-0210 xIO XLR 1x1 is a Decora-style Dante wall plate endpoint in white, designed for US single-gang electrical boxes. It provides one balanced XLR microphone/line input and one balanced XLR output on a wall plate, converting the analog connections to and from Dante network audio. Powered over Ethernet via IEEE 802.3af PoE, it requires no local power supply and connects to the Symetrix DSP system and Dante network over a single Cat cable. Audio conversion runs at 24-bit with support for 48 kHz and 96 kHz sample rates and a minimum Dante latency of 1 ms.

The xIO XLR series provides professional-grade XLR wall plate Dante I/O at each room connection point in a distributed AV system, eliminating the need to run individual analog cables back to a central equipment rack. The xIO XLR 1x1 is the single-channel bidirectional variant — one XLR input (for a microphone or line source) and one XLR output (for a local speaker or amplifier) on a single Decora wall plate. The die-cast zinc chassis and commercial-grade construction suit permanent installation in conference rooms, boardrooms, and multi-purpose spaces. The device communicates with the Symetrix DSP over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet using standard TCP/IP and is fully configured in Symetrix Composer. Compliant with CE, UKCA, EAC, FCC Part 15, and RoHS. Also available in black (80-0222) and in Euro gang box format (80-0214 white / 80-0226 black).
