The xIO XLR 1x1 (Euro) installs in a standard European gang box and presents a clean white faceplate with male and female XLR connectors. A microphone or line-level source connects to the XLR input, and the signal is converted to a Dante audio stream for network distribution to the room's DSP. The XLR output allows a local speaker, amplifier, or monitor to receive audio from the Dante network at the wall location. Routing and gain are configured in Symetrix Composer alongside the rest of the DSP signal chain. The wall plate eliminates long analog cable runs from podium or table to rack, replacing them with a single Cat cable to the nearest network switch.
