The Meyer Sound ULTRA-X20 with Weather Protection is the IP54-rated version of the compact wide-coverage point-source loudspeaker, built for permanent outdoor and semi-exposed AV installations. Its rotatable 110° x 50° constant-Q horn provides even, predictable coverage for amphitheaters, courtyards, houses of worship, and covered outdoor venues. Two 5-inch low-frequency drivers and a 2-inch compression driver are powered by an internal three-channel Class-D amplifier. Weather-protected TOP connectors and treated components allow reliable operation in demanding environments.
Product Description
This weather-protected ULTRA-X20 shares the acoustic design of the standard model while adding an IP54 rating for resistance to dust and water. A concentric driver configuration delivers coaxial-style point-source behavior with directional control of frequencies down to 600 Hz, and phase-corrected electronics maintain flat amplitude and phase response for accurate imaging. The analog audio input uses 3-pin XLR TOP (Total Outdoor Protection) connectors, and AC power is supplied through a powerCON TRUE1 TOP connector with loop output.
