The specification that decides whether this camera belongs in a room is optical reach, and it is the one number worth arguing about before anything else is priced. A fixed camera bar at the display handles a twenty-foot boardroom table well. Put the same bar at the front of a lecture theatre and a face in the back row arrives at the far end as a handful of pixels, because the wide lens has already spent its resolution on the walls. Twenty times optical zoom is real magnification through glass, and it holds detail in a way the 12x digital stage inside the 240x total figure cannot. Specify against the actual distance from the camera position to the furthest seat that has to be readable, not against the room's square footage.

What is the difference between the PTZ 4K and the Room Vision PTZ?

Reach. The PTZ 4K gives 20x optical zoom inside a 240x total range. Choose the PTZ 4K when the room is deep and you need optical reach; choose Room Vision PTZ when smooth on-camera movement matters more. Both cameras sit in our Cisco video conferencing range.

Which bundles include this camera?

Can it run on PoE?
