What is the AUDAC CALI660II/W ceiling speaker?
The AUDAC CALI660II/W is a 2-way 6.5" ceiling speaker with a multi-tap 70V/100V transformer and an 8 Ω setting, made for paging and background music in conference rooms, open offices, retail and restaurants. A 6.5" cone with a coaxial 1" soft dome tweeter delivers 60 W continuous (AES) power and 108 dB max SPL. The II version is IP56 rated with a humidity-proof cone coating.
How does the AUDAC CALI660II/W ceiling speaker work?
The CALI660II/W drops into an 8.66" cut-out, clamps with AUDAC's SafeLatch mount, and finishes with the borderless TwistFix grill. A rotary switch selects 60, 30 or 15 W at 100V, 30, 15 or 7.5 W at 70V, or 8 Ω direct, so the same speaker fits both distributed paging and low-impedance music systems. Frequency response is 90 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB) with 120° coverage and 90 dB sensitivity. Pluggable terminal blocks with link-through speed up daisy-chained runs.
