What is the AUDAC TBA60 tile bridge?
The AUDAC TBA60 is a zinc-plated steel tile bridge set for mounting the AUDAC CALI660 ceiling speaker in suspended (lay-in) ceiling tiles. It spreads the speaker's weight across the tile and grid instead of loading the soft tile alone. It is an optional accessory sold separately from the speaker.
What does the AUDAC TBA60 tile bridge do?
The TBA60 sits on top of the ceiling tile and carries the speaker's SafeLatch clamps, so the tile does not sag or crack over time. Cut the tile using the 8.66" round cut-out, fit the bridge, then install the CALI660 through the opening. It is the right add-on any time a CALI660 goes into acoustic tile rather than drywall, which covers most offices, classrooms and government buildings. Order one TBA60 per speaker.
