What is the AUDAC BASSO115/B infrasubwoofer?
The AUDAC BASSO115/B is a 15" ultra-high power infrasubwoofer built for nightclubs, concert venues, theme parks and large event spaces. It handles 1500 W continuous (AES) at 8 Ω and reaches 130 dB max SPL, with response down to 31 Hz (-10 dB). A pure carbon fiber cone and AUDAC's AeroVent porting keep the bass clean at high levels.
How does the AUDAC BASSO115/B infrasubwoofer work?
The BASSO115/B pairs a 15" carbon cone driver on dual suspension and a 4" high-excursion voice coil with AUDAC's AeroVent exponential port, which is designed to cut airflow noise as the driver moves large volumes of air. The cabinet is tuned to 38 Hz, giving 37 Hz – 120 Hz (-3 dB) with 98 dB sensitivity. A multi-layer polyurea coating protects the 18 mm plywood cabinet, and a high-current terminal block with link-through simplifies multi-sub arrays.
