AUDAC BASSO112/B – 12" Ultra-High Power Infrasubwoofer
What is the AUDAC BASSO112/B infrasubwoofer?
The AUDAC BASSO112/B is a 12" ultra-high power infrasubwoofer built for nightclubs, concert venues, theme parks and large event spaces. It handles 1000 W continuous (AES) at 8 Ω and reaches 124 dB max SPL, with response down to 26 Hz (-10 dB). A pure carbon fiber cone and AUDAC's AeroVent porting keep the bass clean at high levels.
How does the AUDAC BASSO112/B infrasubwoofer work?
The BASSO112/B pairs a 12" carbon cone driver on dual suspension and a 3.5" high-excursion voice coil with AUDAC's AeroVent exponential port, which is designed to cut airflow noise as the driver moves large volumes of air. The cabinet is tuned to 39 Hz, giving 33 Hz – 120 Hz (-3 dB) with 94 dB sensitivity. A multi-layer polyurea coating protects the 18 mm plywood cabinet, and a high-current terminal block with link-through simplifies multi-sub arrays. Drive it from a high-power amplifier channel through a DSP with proper high-pass and limiter settings. Sibling models: BASSO115, BASSO118.
