The AUDAC BASSO112/OB is a 12" ultra-high power infrasubwoofer rated IP55 for outdoor use, built for nightclubs, concert venues, theme parks and large event spaces. It handles 1000 W continuous (AES) at 8 Ω and reaches 124 dB max SPL, with response down to 26 Hz (-10 dB). A pure carbon fiber cone and AUDAC's AeroVent porting keep the bass clean at high levels.
How does the AUDAC BASSO112/OB infrasubwoofer work?
The BASSO112/OB pairs a 12" carbon cone driver on dual suspension and a 3.5" high-excursion voice coil with AUDAC's AeroVent exponential port, which is designed to cut airflow noise as the driver moves large volumes of air. The cabinet is tuned to 39 Hz, giving 33 Hz – 120 Hz (-3 dB) with 94 dB sensitivity. The outdoor OB version adds IP55 protection and a waterproof cover over the high-current terminal block, and AUDAC rates it as impact resistant, so it can live on patios, stages and amusement installations year-round.
