What is the AUDAC BASO18/W subwoofer?
The AUDAC BASO18/W is a compact 18" bass-reflex subwoofer cabinet in white for venues, auditoriums, houses of worship and event spaces. It handles 900 W continuous (AES) at 8 Ω and reaches 125 dB max SPL. A woven carbon-fiber cone keeps the driver light and stiff for tight, efficient bass.
How does the AUDAC BASO18/W subwoofer work?
The BASO18 loads an 18" carbon cone driver with dual low-loss suspension and a 4" high-excursion voice coil into an 18 mm plywood cabinet tuned to 38 Hz. Response is 32 – 300 Hz (±3 dB) with 96 dB sensitivity. Two Neutrik speakON NLT4MPBAG connectors with link-through make it easy to chain cabinets, and the recessed connector dish protects them. Three M10 rigging points allow flying, integrated handles on both sides help with moves, and the optional CHB196 35 mm pole adapter lets you mount a top speaker above it.
