What is the AUDAC ANM88 Dante/AES67 module?
The AUDAC ANM88 is a hardware extension card that turns the LUNA-U unified audio matrix processor into a Dante™/AES67 networked device. It ships with an 8x8 Dante/AES67 channel license, so the LUNA-U can exchange audio with network paging stations, wall panels and other Dante or AES67 endpoints. It is the required first step for any LUNA-U that needs networked audio in a commercial installation.
How does the AUDAC ANM88 Dante/AES67 module work?
The ANM88 installs inside the LUNA-U: remove the top cover of the audio matrix processor and fit the card in place. Once installed, the LUNA-U gains 8x8 Dante/AES67 channels out of the box. Additional networked channels are added with the SL-NAC8 8x8 Dante/AES67 channel expansion license, up to the LUNA-U maximum of 32x32 channels. AUDAC positions the module as part of its Atellio family, with AudioBridge for Dante/AES67 audio transfer on all inputs and outputs. It is compatible with Dante/AES67 paging, input and output devices, so networked microphones and wall panels can be added without dedicated analog home runs. The module is Dante Domain Manager ready, which suits IT-managed networks that segment audio traffic by domain. For larger systems that need more than 32x32 channels, AUDAC's LUNA-F supports up to 64x64 channels with licensing.
