The Williams AV RPK 006 is a dual rack panel kit that mounts two half-rack transmitters or modulators side by side in a single IEC rack space. It is the specified hardware for racking pairs of WaveCAST, FM+ (FM Plus), or MOD 232 units, maximizing rack density in assistive listening head-ends. Integrators building multi-channel systems use the RPK 006 to consolidate two transmitters into one rack unit.
Product Description
Multi-channel assistive listening and audio distribution projects often deploy transmitters in pairs — two WaveCAST channels for adjacent rooms, an FM+ unit alongside a MOD 232 modulator, or redundant transmitters for a critical venue. The RPK 006 joins two half-rack chassis into a single 19-inch rack assembly: included linking bars fasten the two devices together through their adjoining sides, while the rack ears secure the outer side of each device to the rack rails. The result is a rigid, one-rack-space assembly with both front panels accessible and no wasted vertical space. Compared with mounting each unit separately using two single kits, the dual kit halves the rack space consumed and produces a cleaner head-end layout. For a single half-rack device, specify the RPK 005 single rack panel kit instead. Compatible transmitters such as the WaveCAST EIGHT and the full FM+ line are available from Creation Networks.
