The Williams AV RPK 005 is a rack panel kit that mounts one half-rack-width transmitter or modulator in a single IEC rack space. It is the specified rack-mount hardware for WaveCAST, FM+ (FM Plus), and MOD 232 units, turning a desktop-format transmitter into a properly secured rack component. AV integrators include the RPK 005 on any project where assistive listening head-end equipment lives in an equipment rack.
Product Description
Williams AV builds its WaveCAST Wi-Fi transmitters, FM+ dual FM/Wi-Fi transmitters, and MOD 232 modulator in a half-rack (1/2 space) chassis, which means they need dedicated mounting hardware to install cleanly alongside standard 19-inch equipment. The RPK 005 provides the rack ears and blank panel section to secure a single unit in one rack space (1RU), filling the unused half of the row for a finished appearance. Rack-mounting the transmitter rather than shelving it improves cable strain relief, keeps the unit ventilated in a defined position, and protects front-panel controls in shared equipment rooms.
