Product Overview
The Symetrix 80-0152 AEC-1 is a single-channel external acoustic echo cancellation module designed to add hardware AEC capability to compatible Symetrix DSP systems where on-board or expansion card AEC is not available or not sufficient. It provides one channel of hardware acoustic echo cancellation and interfaces with the DSP via standard analog connections programmed in Symetrix Composer.
Product Description
The AEC-1 module is an external hardware device that processes one microphone input channel with acoustic echo cancellation, referencing the loudspeaker output signal to remove echo from the microphone path. It is configured in Symetrix Composer as part of the overall system signal chain. The AEC-1 is suited to installations using Symetrix DSPs that do not have an expansion slot (such as the Prism family) and require hardware AEC for conferencing. For two AEC channels in a single unit, see the AEC-2 Module (80-0153). For AEC on the EDGE DSP, the 4-Channel AEC Input Card (80-0064) provides card-based AEC expansion.
