Product Overview
The Symetrix 80-0132 USB Audio Card is an expansion card for the Symetrix EDGE DSP that adds a USB-B computer audio interface to the EDGE chassis, enabling direct BYOD soft-codec audio integration for Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, and other soft-codec platforms. It provides the same USB-B functionality found natively on the Radius NX, but as an expansion card option for the EDGE platform. The card installs in one of the four EDGE expansion slots and presents as a standard USB audio device to the connected room PC.
Product Description
The USB Audio Card enables the EDGE DSP to function as the USB audio device for a room computer — routing the room’s microphone and speaker channels through the EDGE signal chain for BYOD soft-codec conferencing without a separate USB interface. Up to 64 USB audio channels can be bridged to the EDGE’s Dante network, connecting computer audio to Dante-enabled endpoints and recording systems. The card is compatible with Windows and macOS and is configured in Symetrix Composer for USB audio channel routing within the signal chain. It installs in any expansion slot of the EDGE Dante or non-Dante and can be paired with the 4-Channel AEC Input Card (80-0064) for a complete conferencing I/O configuration in a single EDGE chassis.
