Product Description

In a distributed AVoIP architecture, the xIO 4x4 serves as a remote I/O node — accepting analog microphones or line sources and delivering processed audio to local amplifiers or speakers, all routed over Dante to and from a central Symetrix DSP. A typical deployment places xIO 4x4 units at conference room connection points, lecterns, or equipment closets, with the central EDGE Dante, Radius NX, or Server D100 handling all signal processing. All routing and signal assignment is configured in Symetrix Composer within the overall site file. The half-rack chassis mounts in a standard equipment rack with the optional 1U Rack Tray (80-0107) or surface-mounted with the 1/2U Surface Mount Bracket (80-0108).
