Product Overview
The Symetrix 80-0065 2-Line VoIP Interface Card is an expansion card for the Symetrix EDGE DSP that adds a two-line SIP/VoIP telephone interface to the EDGE chassis. It is used in conference rooms, boardrooms, and government meeting spaces where telephone conferencing via SIP/VoIP is required alongside the primary DSP conferencing signal chain. The card installs in one of the four EDGE expansion slots and is configured in Symetrix Composer.
Product Description
The 2-Line VoIP Interface Card provides a SIP/VoIP softphone interface that integrates directly into the EDGE DSP signal chain, allowing telephone calls to be handled through the same DSP processing, routing, and room speaker/microphone system as the room’s primary conferencing audio. Two independent SIP lines provide redundancy or simultaneous call handling. The card is compatible with standard SIP-based VoIP phone systems and is configured in Symetrix Composer to define call audio routing, ring tone handling, and DTMF signaling. It installs in any expansion slot of the EDGE Dante (80-0048) or EDGE non-Dante (80-0204) and can be combined with AEC, analog I/O, and USB Audio cards in the remaining slots.
