Product Description
The MX405LP/MS combines an interchangeable mini-shotgun cartridge with a 12.7 cm (5 in) gooseneck and a bottom bi-color LED status indicator. The narrow lobar pickup isolates a single talker, which improves intelligibility in reverberant rooms and high-channel-count systems. For permanent installation, this conference room microphone mounts through a table or lectern via the Shure MX400SMP surface-mount preamp (sold separately) and integrates with automatic mixers for gated, logic-controlled operation. CommShield RF filtering protects against mobile and wireless interference, while a switchable 150 Hz low-cut filter reduces HVAC rumble. The snap-fit windscreen adds 30 dB of pop protection for close lectern use.
