Product Description
The MX185 is the cardioid version of the Shure Microflex lavalier family, using an electret condenser cartridge tuned for accurate, intelligible voice reproduction. Its cardioid polar pattern offers front-focused pickup with moderate rejection of room noise, making it a versatile choice for conference room and house-of-worship deployments where a presenter stays reasonably on-axis. The microphone terminates in an in-line preamp with a 3-pin XLR connector for direct connection to installed mixers and DSP processors. Each unit includes a belt clip, single and dual tie clips, and a snap-fit windscreen for repeatable presenter setups. For wider coverage choose the omnidirectional MX183; for the highest ambient rejection choose the supercardioid MX184.
