Product Description
The MX184 is the supercardioid member of the Shure Microflex lavalier family, using an electret condenser cartridge to capture intelligible speech while rejecting ambient noise from the sides and rear. The narrow pickup angle increases gain-before-feedback in reinforced rooms, which matters when a presenter speaks into nearby loudspeakers. The microphone terminates in an in-line preamp with a 3-pin XLR connector for direct integration with commercial mixers and DSP processors. It ships with a belt clip, single and dual tie clips, and a snap-fit windscreen for repeatable presenter setups. Choose this supercardioid lavalier microphone when ambient rejection is the priority; for free-moving talkers, the omnidirectional MX183 is the better fit.
