Product Description
Mounting a shotgun microphone to a camera shoe puts the capsule in direct contact with a vibration source unless the mount isolates it. The A89M-SH shoe mount suspends the VP89S or VP89M in a Rycote Lyre system that decouples the microphone from camera and handling noise, keeping captured audio clean. A soft-feel grip holds the microphone securely so it does not shift during shooting. Developed by Shure with Rycote, the mount is sized for VP89 modular shotgun microphones.
