Product Description
Handheld shotgun microphone work transmits significant grip and handling noise into the capsule unless the mount isolates it. The A89M-PG pistol grip mount suspends the VP89S or VP89M in a Rycote Lyre system that decouples the microphone from the operator's hand, controlling handling noise during run-and-gun recording. The soft-feel grip provides a secure hold and reduces operator fatigue on long takes. Developed by Shure with Rycote, the mount is sized for VP89 modular shotgun microphones so the unit stays firmly positioned.
