This is the genuine Sennheiser bodypack transmitter antenna for the SK 6000 and SK 9000, a detachable replacement with a threaded connector, stocked in the A1-A4 (470–558 MHz) and A5-A8 (550–638 MHz) bands. As a service part it restores reliable RF transmission on damaged or missing transmitter antennas, which are the most common single cause of intermittent dropouts on body-worn packs.
Product Description
This Digital 6000 transmitter antenna threads onto the coaxial connector of the SK 6000 and SK 9000 bodypack transmitters and installs tool-free in seconds. Transmitter antennas take the brunt of body-worn use — bent under a costume, fatigued at the base after a season of fittings — and a tired antenna degrades range long before it fails outright. Rental houses and integrators keep spares per band for exactly this reason.
Antennas are frequency-matched, so confirm which range the transmitter operates in before ordering and select the matching variant; fitting an antenna from another band degrades transmission even though it will thread on. The matching transmitters are stocked here — the SK 6000 bodypack transmitter and SK 9000 bodypack transmitter — as are the receive-side antennas and distribution parts that complete a rack: the A 5000-CP passive directional antenna, ASP 212 antenna splitter and GZL RG 58 antenna cable.
