What is the RDL TX-TPR6A?
The RDL TX-TPR6A is a passive single-pair Format-A receiver that provides transformer-isolated balanced and unbalanced audio outputs from twisted pair cable. Because it needs no power, it suits distributed audio systems where local power is unavailable.
How does it work?
A front-panel switch selects which Format-A pair, A, B or C, feeds the +4 dBu balanced terminal block output and the -10 dBV unbalanced RCA output. A bridging transformer isolates the twisted pair cable from the audio outputs. A LOOP OUT RJ45 jack passes all three audio pairs to additional receivers, and power present on the cable passes through to connected modules. Compatible Format-A senders include the TX-TPS1A and TX-TPS6A.
