RDL DS-RLC2 – Remote Level Control with LED Display – Stainless Steel
What is the RDL DS-RLC2?
The RDL DS-RLC2 is a remote level control panel in stainless steel with UP and DOWN pushbuttons and a 10-segment level display. It lets users adjust audio volume from one or several wall locations in commercial AV systems.
How does it work?
The DS-RLC2 interfaces directly with RDL control modules such as the ST-RG1 ramp generator or the RU-VCA2A digitally controlled audio attenuator. Pressing UP or DOWN sends the matching signal back to the control module, and a 0 to 10 Vdc ramp input feeds the 10-segment level display. When connected to the RU-VCA2A, pressing both buttons together returns the level to the RU-VCA2A PRESET level. The panel requires ground-referenced 24 Vdc at 75 mA and connects through a detachable terminal block. Power it from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX power supply.
What are the key features?
- UP and DOWN pushbuttons — Momentary buttons give users simple level adjustment.
- 10-segment level display — A visual bar shows the current level at the panel.
- Multiple control locations — Several panels can control and display the same level.
- Preset recall with RU-VCA2A — Pressing both buttons returns the RU-VCA2A to its PRESET level.
- Standard box mounting — It mounts in a standard US electrical box or RDL WB- or SMB-series boxes.
