RDL ST-RG1 – Ramp Generator with 0 to 10 Vdc Output
What is the RDL ST-RG1?
The RDL ST-RG1 is a digitally generated 0 to 10 Vdc ramp generator for controlling RDL voltage-controlled amplifiers from multiple locations. It provides pushbutton UP and DOWN volume control with LED level indication.
How does it work?
Any number of UP and DOWN buttons may be connected, and the ramp output can drive up to six ST-VCA3 modules. Ramping from fully off to fully on takes about 5 seconds, with a minimum step of 200 mV. Two LED driver outputs, red and green, show relative level at each control point. Switch inputs are buffered and de-bounced, and the RDL D-RLC2 remote level control adds wall-mounted control with a level display. Power it from a 24 Vdc supply such as the RDL PS-24AX.
What are the key features?
- 0 to 10 Vdc ramp output — A digitally generated control voltage sets VCA levels.
- Multiple control points — Any number of UP and DOWN buttons can be connected.
- Drives six VCAs — Output capacity covers up to six ST-VCA3 modules.
- LED level outputs — Red and green LED drivers show relative level.
- De-bounced inputs — Buffered switch inputs give clean, reliable control.
