What is the RDL DS-RC2ST?
The RDL DS-RC2ST is a Decora-style wall remote with two pushbuttons for selecting one of two audio or video sources, destinations or functions. It finishes in stainless steel and wires to RDL STICK-ON and TX modules with a single shielded pair in most installations.
How does it work?
At power-up source 1 is selected; pressing the other button deselects it and selects source 2, and a red LED beside each button shows the active channel. Each button drives an open-collector output (25 mA current limited) on the rear detachable terminal block, powered from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply at 30 mA. Pair it with the ST-SSR1 solid-state audio switch to select between two audio sources, the TX-MVX video switch for video, or the ST-RX2 for audio routing. The module mounts in a standard US electrical box or RDL WB- or SMB- series box, with the CP-1S cover plate available separately.
