What is the RDL TX-MVX?
The RDL TX-MVX is a 2x1 BNC video switch controlled by a manual switch or an open-collector output. It routes one video source to one of two destinations, or switches two sources to one destination.
How does it work?
VIDEO A is normally connected to COMMON, and pulling the TRIG terminal to ground connects VIDEO B and disconnects VIDEO A. A high-quality RF relay performs the switching. The control switch can be remote, and the open-collector SLAVE terminals on many RDL modules or relay contacts on other equipment can drive TRIG. Examples include audio detection with the ST-ACR1, video detection with the TX-VCR, or a wall remote such as the D-RC2ST, with power from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply such as the PS-24AX power supply.
