The QSC PL-DC24 is a dual 4-inch two-way passive point-source loudspeaker with directivity control, part of QSC's PL Series of installation loudspeakers. Its horizontally oriented, V-shaped dual-4-inch transducer layout and HF compression driver produce a fixed 110° x 50° coverage pattern, making it ideal as a near-field fill, delay, or under-balcony loudspeaker. Engineered for the Q-SYS ecosystem, the PL-DC24 is driven by CX-Q Series network amplifiers for custom voicings, protection, and telemetry. Its weatherized IP54 plywood enclosure supports indoor and protected outdoor installations.
Product Description
The PL-DC24 packs controlled directivity into a compact, low-profile cabinet that fits architecturally sensitive spaces where a larger box would be impractical. The fixed 110° x 50° horn delivers predictable coverage for stage fills, delays, and lost-coverage areas under balconies, while the asymmetrical 15° cabinet profile aids aiming. Multiple rigging points (rear, top/bottom M8, and side yoke attachment) support flexible placement, and the optional PL-DC24-YM yoke mount or PL-DC24-FM flush mount adapt it to walls and ceilings. The passive design presents an 8-ohm load. For higher output in a single-box format, consider the QSC PL-DC8 point-source loudspeaker.
