The Rove 30 sits in the middle of the Poly Rove handset line, above the entry-level Rove 20 and below the Bluetooth-equipped Rove 40. It is the volume handset in most deployments: the model a facilities manager issues to general staff who need reliable voice coverage and durability rather than a headset-heavy workflow. A 2.4-inch color LCD at 240 x 320 shows caller ID, missed calls, and message waiting clearly under warehouse lighting, and the handset supports call transfer, hold, park, pick-up, intercom, push-to-talk, and speed dial through the base's SIP registration.

Durability is the reason this SKU is specified over a consumer cordless phone. The chassis is IP65 rated, meaning it is dust tight and resists water jets, and it is drop proof up to 6.6 ft (2 m). Microban antimicrobial product protection is integrated into the surfaces, which matters in clinical and food-handling environments where handsets pass between shifts. DECT security certification and encryption apply across the link, including when a repeater is in the path, so conversations stay private without a separate VPN or encryption layer.
