The Poly Rove R8 is a DECT repeater that extends the signal between a Poly Rove base station and roaming handsets, so staff stay connected as they move through a facility. Each repeater adds about 50 m (165 ft) of indoor range and up to 300 m (980 ft) outdoors, which lets integrators shape coverage around the building rather than adding full base stations. Up to six R8 repeaters can pair to a Poly Rove B2 base and up to three to a Poly Rove B4 base. As a DECT repeater, it operates on the dedicated voice band, keeping cordless calls reliable without competing with Wi-Fi. It installs on a wall or ceiling and is managed alongside the base station.
