Product Overview
The Poly G7500 with Studio E70 and TC8 (83Z53AA#ABA) is a complete large-room video conferencing system that pairs the 4K UHD modular codec with a dual-lens 20MP smart camera and an 8-inch touch controller. Where the EagleEye IV configurations use a mechanical PTZ camera, the Studio E70 uses two fixed 4K sensors and DirectorAI framing to switch shots electronically, which means no motor noise, no repositioning delay, and simultaneous wide and tight coverage. The included TC8 gives the room one-touch join and in-room call control on a PoE tabletop panel. This is the configuration to specify for large conference rooms, all-hands spaces, and training rooms where automatic speaker tracking is expected.
Product Description
The Studio E70 is what differentiates this bundle. It carries dual cameras with 20-megapixel 4K sensors at 120-degree and 70-degree horizontal fields of view, so the camera can hold a wide group shot on one sensor while framing an individual speaker on the other. DirectorAI framing selects between group framing, people framing, and speaker framing automatically, which removes the need for a camera operator in an all-hands or training room. A motorized integrated privacy shutter handles rooms where a physical lens cover is a policy requirement. The camera measures 12.63 x 4.02 x 5.51 in. (321 x 102 x 89.1 mm) and is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom alongside the codec.
The G7500 codec handles the call. Encode and decode use H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile, and H.265, with people video up to 4K at 30 fps and content input and output up to UHD 3840 x 2160 at 5 to 60 fps. Two HDMI outputs drive a people display and a content display; one HDMI input accepts a room PC or presenter laptop. Audio uses Poly NoiseBlockAI and Poly Acoustic Fence, and the codec's three dedicated 10/100/1G LAN ports supply PoE+ to as many as three IP microphone arrays with roughly 20 ft. of pickup range each. A large room with a long table is covered by adding arrays over standard Ethernet cabling rather than by installing an outboard DSP and analog mic runs.
The bundled Poly TC8 is a tabletop touch controller connected over PoE, giving the room a scheduled-meeting join button and control of camera presets, volume, and content sharing. For integrators, the codec still behaves like a component: RS-232 and a REST API expose it to a third-party control processor, up to three HDMI or USB cameras can be connected with source switching from the touch interface, and USB device mode over USB-C lets the room double as a BYOM endpoint. Media encryption uses AES-128 and AES-256 with TLS 1.0 through 1.2 for management, and the fleet is administered through HP Poly Lens. Rooms that want a larger control surface can substitute or add a Poly TC10 touch controller, and a spare or replacement Poly Studio E70 camera and Poly TC8 touch controller are available individually for multi-room standardization.
Key Features
- Dual-Lens Studio E70 Camera — Two 20MP 4K sensors at 120-degree and 70-degree horizontal fields of view provide wide and tight coverage at the same time.
- DirectorAI Automatic Framing — Group, people, and speaker framing switch shots electronically, so a large room tracks the conversation without a camera operator or motor noise.
- Included TC8 Touch Controller — An 8-inch PoE tabletop panel provides one-touch join, camera preset recall, and content control from the table.
- 4K UHD Modular Codec — H.264 AVC, H.264 High Profile, and H.265 support people video up to 4K at 30 fps and content up to 3840 x 2160.
- Integrated Privacy Shutter — The Studio E70's motorized electronic shutter satisfies policy requirements for a physical lens cover in sensitive spaces.
- Dual HDMI Output — Separate people and content displays are driven from the codec with no external scaler or switcher.
- PoE+ IP Microphone Ports — Three dedicated LAN ports power up to three IP microphone arrays over standard Ethernet, each covering roughly 20 ft. of pickup.
- Poly NoiseBlockAI and Acoustic Fence — Non-speech noise and out-of-zone voices are suppressed so far-end participants hear the meeting rather than the building.
- Certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom — Native room apps run on the codec, with H.323 and SIP available for standards-based interoperability.
- Control System Integration — RS-232 and a REST API allow a third-party control processor to drive the system inside a larger integrated AV design.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Studio E70 differ from an EagleEye IV PTZ camera?
The EagleEye IV is a mechanical pan-tilt-zoom camera that physically moves and uses optical zoom. The Studio E70 uses two fixed 20MP 4K sensors at 120-degree and 70-degree horizontal fields of view and switches shots electronically with DirectorAI framing. That means no motor noise, no repositioning delay, and simultaneous wide and tight coverage, which suits all-hands and training rooms better than a mechanical PTZ.
Is a touch controller included?
Yes. This configuration ships with the Poly TC8, an 8-inch tabletop touch controller powered over PoE. It provides one-touch join for scheduled meetings, camera preset recall, volume, and content sharing control from the table. Rooms preferring a larger panel can add a Poly TC10 instead.
Are microphones included with this system?
No microphone is included in this SKU. The codec has three dedicated 10/100/1G LAN ports supplying PoE+, and supports up to three Poly IP microphone arrays with roughly 20 ft. of pickup range each. Table arrays and ceiling arrays connect over standard Ethernet cabling with no external DSP required.
What room size does this configuration suit?
It is aimed at large rooms. The Studio E70's 120-degree wide sensor covers a broad seating area while the 70-degree sensor holds a tight speaker shot, and microphone coverage scales by adding IP arrays. For medium rooms with a shorter table, an EagleEye IV configuration or an all-in-one video bar is usually the more economical fit.
How does the system integrate with an existing AV rack?
The codec exposes RS-232 and a REST API for third-party control processors, dual HDMI outputs for the display pair, and one HDMI input for a room PC or laptop. USB device mode over USB-C allows the room to operate as a BYOM endpoint when a visiting laptop drives the call.
Which video platforms are supported?
The codec and camera are both certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Native room apps include Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, GoToRoom, Dialpad, and BlueJeans, and standards-based H.323 and SIP calling at up to 6 Mbps covers existing video infrastructure.
How are multiple rooms managed after installation?
HP Poly Lens provides cloud monitoring, configuration, and firmware distribution across the codec, camera, and controller. That keeps a multi-room rollout on a consistent firmware baseline without a technician visiting each space.
What warranty and support are included?
The system carries a one-year return-to-factory parts and labor warranty. Extended Poly+ coverage with advance hardware replacement is available separately; contact Creation Networks to have the appropriate tier quoted with the hardware.
