The Logitech RoomMate and Tap IP Appliance Base Bundle (991-000397) pairs the Logitech RoomMate CollabOS appliance with the Logitech Tap IP touch controller and a Logitech Compute Mount. It turns a room into an appliance-based video conferencing space for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms and other supported platforms without a Windows PC. No camera, microphones or speakers are included, so you choose the Logitech USB camera system or certified audio that fits the room. It suits rooms that need modular cameras, ceiling audio or a DSP rather than an all-in-one video bar.
How does the Logitech RoomMate and Tap IP Appliance Base Bundle work?
RoomMate runs Logitech CollabOS and hosts the meeting platform directly, the same way a Rally Bar does in appliance mode. It drives two displays at 1080p, or three in certain configurations, and provides 2 HDMI outputs, 1 HDMI input, 3 USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Logitech certifies it with MeetUp, the Rally Camera, the Rally system and Rally Plus, and it has been verified with select DSPs from Biamp, QSC and Shure for rooms with installed audio.
Tap IP is a network-connected 10.1-inch touch controller powered by a single PoE cable (IEEE 802.3af Class 3), so it needs no USB run back to the compute. It pairs with RoomMate over the network, provides one-touch join and in-meeting controls, and uses a motion sensor to wake when someone approaches. The Compute Mount secures RoomMate behind a display, inside a cabinet or under a table with built-in cable retention.
