Product Overview

The Logitech Tap IP 952-000085 is a 10.1-inch PoE meeting room touch controller in Graphite, purpose-built for Logitech video conferencing room solutions. As a network-connected touch controller, Tap IP uses a single Power over Ethernet connection for both power and data, untethering the controller from the room compute and eliminating long USB runs. It delivers one-touch join across Microsoft Teams on Android and Zoom Rooms, with clean cable management and a range of table, riser, and wall mounts for flexible placement. Tap IP is a leading PoE touch controller for organizations standardizing room control over the network.

Product Description

Tap IP provides a consistent meeting room control experience with a spacious 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen running at 1280 x 800, 400 nits brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, finished with an oleophobic anti-fingerprint coating. A single PoE connection (IEEE 802.3af Type 1, Class 3) carries power and data, so the controller installs anywhere in the room without long cable runs to the compute. Built-in cable retention and a strain-relief system hide the PoE cable entirely within the enclosure and secure it against accidental disconnection. A comfortable 14-degree display angle and integrated PIR motion sensor provide always-on readiness, while integrated accelerometer, ambient light, and ultrasonic sensors support setup and management. Tap IP mounts via a 100mm VESA pattern with available table, riser, and wall mounts, and is managed through Logitech Sync, Microsoft Teams Admin Center, or Zoom Device Management. Hardware security includes AES-128 full disk encryption, device attestation, Arm TrustZone key protection, and a Kensington lock slot. This unit is the Graphite finish; a White variant (952-000088) is also available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Tap IP require a separate power supply?
No. Tap IP draws power and data over a single PoE connection (IEEE 802.3af Type 1, Class 3), so it needs a PoE-enabled switch or PoE injector and an Ethernet cable.

Which platforms does Tap IP support?
Tap IP is certified or compatible as a touch controller for Microsoft Teams on Android and Zoom Rooms. Confirm current certifications at logitech.com/support/tap-compatibility.

How is Tap IP different from the USB Tap with Cat5e Kit?
Tap IP connects to the network over a single PoE cable, while the Tap with Cat5e Kit connects to a host PC over USB extended via Cat5e. Choose Tap IP for network-connected room solutions.

What cabling do I need?
A Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet run to a PoE switch port or PoE injector. The internal retention system secures the cable within the enclosure.

What mounting options are available?
Tap IP uses a 100mm VESA pattern and supports optional table, riser, and wall mounts for placement near participants.

Is a White version available?
Yes. The same controller is offered in White as part number 952-000088. Contact Creation Networks for availability.
