Product Overview
The K-Array Pinnacle KR202P II is a passive stereo column line array system designed for fixed commercial AV installation in houses of worship, auditoriums, and government spaces where amplification belongs in an equipment rack rather than on the floor. The package combines two passive Thunder KS2P I 18-inch subwoofers, four Kobra KK102 I stainless steel line array columns, one Kommander KA104 four-channel DSP amplifier, and K-JOINT3 and K-FOOT3 mounting hardware. With the rack-mounted KA104 driving every element, this installed column line array system gives integrators centralized processing, network control, and clean sightlines at the speaker position. The black finish keeps the slim columns visually quiet against dark walls, stages, and proscenium edges.
Product Description
Each side of the KR202P II consists of a Thunder KS2P I passive subwoofer topped by two Kobra KK102 I columns joined with K-JOINT3 hardware and seated on a K-FOOT3 adapter, while the 2U Kommander KA104 lives in the rack. The KA104 is a Class D amplifier platform rated at 4x 2500 W at 4 ohms with onboard DSP running K-array's osKar operating system, providing EQ, channel levels, a routing matrix, and delay over Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Each KS2P I houses a long-excursion 18-inch neodymium magnet woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, reaching down to 35 Hz with an external DSP-controlled crossover and producing up to 137 dB peak from a 34 kg polyurea-coated birch plywood cabinet.

The Kobra KK102 I columns each carry sixteen 2-inch neodymium drivers in a one-meter stainless steel chassis only 59 mm wide, covering 150 Hz to 18 kHz with selectable 8 or 32 ohm impedance for flexible amplifier loading. Day-to-day control of the KA104 runs through the K-array Connect mobile app, while K-Framework3 software manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN for larger AV system integration projects. K-array publishes KA104 control plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix, so the system drops into the control platforms most commercial integrators already standardize on. Accessories such as the K-FLY3 fly bar and K-WALL2 wall mount support suspended and fixed installations beyond the included ground-stack hardware. This same passive package is available in a white finish (KR202PW II), and integrators who prefer onboard amplification can choose the powered Pinnacle KR202 II instead.
Key Features
- Rack-Based Amplification and DSP — The included Kommander KA104 delivers 4x 2500 W at 4 ohms from a 2U Class D platform, centralizing power and processing in the equipment rack for fixed installation.
- True Line Array Columns — Four Kobra KK102 I elements use sixteen closely spaced 2-inch neodymium drivers each to deliver phase-coherent output and controlled vertical coverage in reverberant rooms.
- All-Passive Speaker Positions — With no electronics at the loudspeaker, only speaker cable runs to each column stack, simplifying conduit planning and long-term serviceability.
- Extended Low-Frequency Response — The two Thunder KS2P I 18-inch subwoofers reach down to 35 Hz with a DSP-controlled crossover, covering full-range music as well as speech reinforcement.
- Selectable Column Impedance — Each KK102 I can be set to 8 or 32 ohms, giving installers flexibility in how columns are paralleled across the KA104's four channels.
- App and Network Control — The K-array Connect mobile app handles remote DSP adjustment, while K-Framework3 manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN for campus-scale deployments.
- Control System Plugins — Published KA104 plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix simplify AV system integration in commercial environments.
- Complete Mounting Package — K-JOINT3 connectors and K-FOOT3 adapters are included, so each column pair stacks directly on its subwoofer, with K-FLY3 and K-WALL2 accessories available for flown or wall-mounted designs.
- Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction — IP54-rated polyurea-coated birch plywood subwoofers and stainless steel column chassis hold up in demanding commercial and semi-outdoor environments.
- 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty — K-array backs the system with a published 5-year product warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the passive KR202P II differ from the powered KR202 II?
The KR202P II uses two passive Thunder KS2P I subwoofers driven by the included rack-mounted Kommander KA104 amplifier, so all power and DSP live in the equipment rack. The powered KR202 II instead builds amplification into a self-powered KS2 I subwoofer on the floor.
What is included in the box?
Two Thunder KS2P I passive subwoofers, four Kobra KK102 I line array columns, one Kommander KA104 DSP amplifier, and K-JOINT3 plus K-FOOT3 mounting hardware for stacking the columns on the subwoofers.
How is the system controlled and integrated?
The KA104 is controlled through the K-array Connect mobile app over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and K-Framework3 software manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN. K-array publishes plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix.
Can the columns be flown or wall-mounted instead of ground-stacked?
Yes. Beyond the included K-FOOT3 ground-stack adapters, K-array offers the K-FLY3 steel fly bar for suspension and the K-WALL2 bracket for wall mounting, supporting permanent installation designs.
Do passive K-array speakers require specific amplifier presets?
Yes. K-array passive loudspeakers require dedicated presets loaded onboard K-array amplifiers; the included KA104 carries these presets, which keeps crossover and limiting matched to the KS2P I and KK102 I.
What warranty applies?
K-array provides a published 5-year product warranty. Creation Networks supports system design, configuration questions, and order support for commercial AV integrators and end users.
Is a white version available?
Yes. The same passive system ships in white as the Pinnacle KR202PW II. Browse the full lineup in our K-Array collection.
