Product Overview
The K-Array Pinnacle KR202PW II is a white passive stereo column line array system built for fixed commercial AV installation in houses of worship, auditoriums, and architecturally sensitive government spaces where loudspeakers must disappear against light walls and columns. The package pairs two passive Thunder KS2P I 18-inch subwoofers and four Kobra KK102 I stainless steel line array columns with one Kommander KA104 four-channel DSP amplifier plus K-JOINT3 and K-FOOT3 mounting hardware. Because all amplification and processing sit in the rack-mounted KA104, this installed column line array system keeps speaker positions completely passive with centralized network control. The white finish blends the 59 mm-wide columns into plaster, stone, and painted interiors that a black PA would visually dominate.
Product Description
Each side of the KR202PW II consists of a Thunder KS2P I passive subwoofer topped by two Kobra KK102 I columns joined with K-JOINT3 hardware and seated on a K-FOOT3 adapter, while the 2U Kommander KA104 amplifier installs in the equipment rack. The KA104 is a Class D platform rated at 4x 2500 W at 4 ohms with onboard DSP running K-array's osKar operating system, exposing EQ, channel levels, a routing matrix, and delay over Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Each KS2P I carries a long-excursion 18-inch neodymium magnet woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, extending response down to 35 Hz with an external DSP-controlled crossover and reaching 137 dB peak from a 34 kg polyurea-coated birch plywood cabinet.

The four Kobra KK102 I columns each hold sixteen 2-inch neodymium drivers in a one-meter stainless steel chassis, covering 150 Hz to 18 kHz with selectable 8 or 32 ohm impedance for flexible loading across the KA104's four channels. The K-array Connect mobile app handles day-to-day DSP control, while K-Framework3 software manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN for larger AV system integration projects spanning sanctuaries, lobbies, and overflow rooms. K-array publishes KA104 control plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix, so the system integrates with the control platforms commercial installers already deploy. For suspended or wall-mounted designs, K-array's K-FLY3 fly bar and K-WALL2 bracket extend the included ground-stack hardware. The same passive package is available in a black finish (KR202P II), and a powered white configuration is offered as the Pinnacle KR202W II.
Key Features
- Architectural White Finish — White subwoofer cabinets and column chassis let the system recede into light interiors, sanctuaries, and historic rooms where black loudspeakers would draw the eye.
- Rack-Based Amplification and DSP — The included Kommander KA104 delivers 4x 2500 W at 4 ohms from a 2U Class D platform, keeping all power and processing in the equipment rack.
- True Line Array Columns — Four Kobra KK102 I elements use sixteen closely spaced 2-inch neodymium drivers each for phase-coherent output and controlled coverage in reverberant spaces.
- All-Passive Speaker Positions — Only speaker cable runs to each column stack, simplifying conduit planning, inspections, and long-term serviceability in fixed installations.
- Extended Low-Frequency Response — The two Thunder KS2P I 18-inch subwoofers reach down to 35 Hz with a DSP-controlled crossover for full-range music and speech reinforcement.
- Selectable Column Impedance — Each KK102 I can be set to 8 or 32 ohms, giving designers flexibility in how columns are distributed across the KA104's four channels.
- App and Network Control — The K-array Connect mobile app provides remote DSP adjustment, and K-Framework3 manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN for multi-room projects.
- Control System Plugins — Published KA104 plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix support clean AV system integration.
- Durable, Weather-Resistant Construction — IP54-rated polyurea-coated birch plywood subwoofers and stainless steel column chassis stand up to demanding commercial use.
- 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty — K-array backs the system with a published 5-year product warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the KR202PW II differ from the powered white KR202W II?
The KR202PW II is fully passive: both Thunder KS2P I subwoofers and all four columns are driven by the included rack-mounted Kommander KA104. The KR202W II instead uses a self-powered KS2 I subwoofer with built-in amplification and needs no rack amplifier.
What is included in the box?
Two Thunder KS2P I passive subwoofers, four Kobra KK102 I line array columns, one Kommander KA104 DSP amplifier, and K-JOINT3 plus K-FOOT3 mounting hardware for stacking the columns on the subwoofers.
How is the system controlled and integrated?
The KA104 is controlled through the K-array Connect mobile app over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and K-Framework3 software manages multiple amplifiers over a wired LAN. K-array publishes plugins for Q-SYS, Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4, Kramer, RTI, Savant, and Symetrix.
Can the columns be flown or wall-mounted?
Yes. Beyond the included K-FOOT3 ground-stack adapters, K-array offers the K-FLY3 steel fly bar for suspension and the K-WALL2 bracket for wall mounting, both common in permanent house of worship and auditorium designs.
Do passive K-array speakers require specific amplifier presets?
Yes. K-array passive loudspeakers require dedicated presets loaded onboard K-array amplifiers; the included KA104 carries these presets so crossover and limiting stay matched to the KS2P I and KK102 I.
What warranty applies?
K-array provides a published 5-year product warranty. Creation Networks supports system design, configuration questions, and order support for commercial AV integrators and end users.
Is a black version available?
Yes. The same passive system ships in black as the Pinnacle KR202P II. Browse the full lineup in our K-Array collection.
